How to Prepare Clams with Cheese?
The traditional clams Parmesan recipe involves using their own shells as containers, but if you only have frozen clams, you can replace the shells with appetizer spoons.

Ingredients
- 24 clams in shells
- 100 ml white wine
- 100 g heavy cream
- 100 g butter
- Parmesan cheese
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Wash the clams thoroughly, removing any traces of dirt, and dry with paper towels. If using fresh clams, set aside the shells, also well washed.

- In a large bowl, mix the heavy cream and white wine, season with salt and pepper to taste, and stir until well combined. Set aside. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) for at least 10 minutes.

- On a baking dish, arrange the clam shells or appetizer spoons and place 1 or 2 clams on each. Add a small cube of butter, cover with the cream mixture, and top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

- Place the dish with the clams in the oven and broil for about five minutes or until the cheese surface is golden. Remove and let cool for a couple of minutes before serving immediately, either alone or accompanied by a glass of well-chilled Chilean white wine.
